This puppy is guaranteed to be sold in good physical health at the time he/she is taken home. All necessary shots and dewormings will have been done prior to its release, as well as having been examined by a licensed veterinarian. The seller makes every effort to prevent parasites (worms). However, travel and changes in the environment can cause the parasite to emerge. Buyer agrees to continue parasite testing and treatment with their veterinarian. The purchaser agrees to take this puppy to a licensed veterinarian of their choosing within 72 hours for a health check. The purchaser must inform the seller immediately if this examination should determine the puppy is unfit for purchase due to illness, disease or congenital disorder; the cause of which is clearly attributed to the seller. The puppy can be returned to seller if found to be unfit for purchase upon presentation of a written diagnosis from a licensed veterinarian (along with the AKC papers and current health records) for a full refund of all monies paid to the seller. The seller will not be responsible for veterinarian fees or costs under any circumstances.
Buyer is aware that owning a puppy means regular trips to the veterinarian and understands that he/she will be responsible for all payments. The puppy is being sold with limited AKC registration rights, which includes no breeding. There is no guarantee or warranty that the buyer will be able to show or breed the puppy regardless of show or breeding potential. This contract is valid only for the original buyer and puppy, and is not transferable.
If the puppy dies within the first year from a congenital defect, a full refund of purchase will be returned to the buyer. An autopsy, at the cost of the buyer, must be performed by a licensed veterinarian to determine the cause of death, and a letter must state that the cause was from a congenital condition. If the buyer breeds the puppy during the first year, this contract is no longer valid.
